Professor Samokhina joined WZBC in Fall 2025 after completing two years of service in Ankara, Turkey, where she taught Academic Writing. Prior to that she worked at the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Throughout her academic career she has had a chance to work with a diverse student body in various academic settings, having taught EAP, ESOL, and Linguistics.
